Uniform
We believe that wearing the academy uniform creates an identity and ensures all students know they belong to our community, it also ensures a smart and consistent appearance for visitors.
All students from Year 7 to 11 are expected to wear their uniform correctly and with pride whilst on academy premises and also on the journey to and from the academy.
Rationale for School Uniform
- To boost students self-esteem, confidence and stimulate pride in themselves and in the academy.
- To prepare students for the world of work by ensuring an understanding of responsibility and identity

Our uniform:
Boys
- Academy Blazer with school badge and blue edging
- Black tailored trousers (Must not be tight fitting, and must fit over shoes) Current fashion styles are not accepted eg - leggins/skinny legged trousers, any jean style, zip pocketed, trousers with rivets.
- Black V-neck sweater with logo (optional)
- Plain white shirt (not Polo shirt)
- Clip on house tie
- Black socks
- Black shoes (which can be polished)
For PE
- Navy Academy polo T shirt
- Navy Academy shorts
- Navy Academy socks
- Football boots (compulsory)
- Shin pads (compulsory)
- Mouth Guards (recommended)
- Trainers
- Navy blue tracksuit trousers (optional)
Girls
