Food
At Thomas Middlecott we believe that we offer a fantastic choice of healthy snacks and meals for our students.
Our caterer makes sure food is available throughout the school day to ensure students have the nutrition they need to participate fully in lessons and enrichment activities.
Students can choose from a range of self-service and hot and cold meals, which are sensitive to cultural requirements.
Lunch is served from 1:15 - 1:50 pm
Food Bank Support
We are delighted to announce that we have joined forces with The Trussell Trust Food bank to act as a referral agent for families of any of our TMA students who can't afford the food they need. As a nation, we know it isn’t right that anyone should be left hungry or living in extreme poverty. But whilst we work for long-term change, joining forces with Trussell Trust's Boston food bank provides our students and families emergency food and compassionate, dignified support to everyone locked in crisis.
As a Food Bank agent, Thomas Middlecott Academy can refer families and issue them with a food bank voucher via email. This means families can receive a food bank e-voucher to exchange for a parcel of three days’ nutritionally balanced, non-perishable food from our nearest local food bank at 5 Wormgate, Boston PE21 6NP.
If you would like to make an application for a food bank voucher, please complete the google form link below. The school will liaise with Trussell Trust Food Bank and send a e-voucher by email to exchange.
