Thomas Middlecott Academy Pledges
At Thomas Middlecott Academy, we encourage our students to take on challenges beyond that of the academic curriculum. This is known as the Academy Pledges. Students are expected to complete at least one task from each strand of the Pledge programme. The Bronze Pledge can be acheived in years 7 and 8, the Silver in Year 9 and the Gold in years 10 and 11. With 7 strands to tackle, ranging from Participation through to Leadership and Service, the tasks offer challenge, and require our students to have determination, resilience and strength of character. Each activity has the golden threads of our values running throguh them: Ambition, Aspiration, Courage and Respect, to ensure that all of our students are prepared for the life ahead of them.
